About me
My name is Mateusz, I live in Częstochowa (Poland), I'm 30+ years old, and I'm a programmer, sound engineer, and lighting designer.
I've been interested in programming ever since I heard that websites could be programmed, when I was maybe 10 years old. I've been programming since 2006, when I first encountered PHP and was able to gain professional experience (I've had it for over 10 years now).
I spent my first years of professional programming working with WordPress, then Drupal, and occasionally Joomla. I worked at a software house, where I built templates, plugins, modules, and migrated websites to newer versions between CMSs.
I've also worked on projects using Zend 1, pure PHP systems, Magento 1 and 2.
Now I mainly program in PHP, with a little Java, Kotlin, Go, and C++ (Arduino, ESP32).
Besides programming, I enjoy fishing on rivers and learning new things.
I also volunteer at the Shoreline Church in Częstochowa where I'm responsible for producing services and events.
